Great composition as always dude!

I agree, it looks like milk :)
Beautiful as a photo, but if the river really looked that way I'd be worried! ;)

haha! thanks Tim. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch that same spot in the fall with the color changes.

How are things going down south? did you make it up to northern Japan for the festivals?

It's hot!
We on a record fun of +35 degree days now. Something like over 16 days and counting I think?

I was going to go to Nebuta but all the flights and hotels were sold out. Guess I need to book now if I want to go next year!

Did you stay overnight?
If so, how far in advance did you book?
Sorry for the questions ;)

Believe it or not, i booked the night before the festival. Toyoko-inn by the train station has great rates and a breakfast (even though the beds are a bit too hard for me). with my wife, it was 6000 yen. You should look into it. well worth it and they've got plenty of hotels throughout Japan.

Thanks for the advice. I might just do the same. :)

it's not bad. no frills. Just pretty much a shower, bed and breakfast. and whats even more cool is the fact that it's close to most train stations.

Now that I think about it. It could have probably been sharper.

Difficult with slow shutters maintaining sharpness, especially when leaves blow about etc

definitely difficult. there are ways but the movement and Wind blowing gives you an idea on how great it was at that moment. with it being more of a rainforest, a breeze is welcome in the heat.
