I drew a strongly yabusame-inspired illustration of a fantasy female warrior practising horseback archery afew years ago, but I had no idea women were actually allowed to compete ! Thank you for showing this :) Beautiful shot. I hope I can go to Japan and see a yabusame event with my own eyes someday.
